In October of 2012, I had the opportunity to photograph a Lookbook for Raven + Lily in Marrakech, Morocco. We were on location at the beautiful Peacock Pavillions, a boutique hotel run by multi-talented Maryam Montegue. We had the most amazing hosts, ate the best food, celebrated a 40th Birthday, and even had a movie night watching Casablanca with Moroccan snacks and a fire to warm our toes. When we had some down time, we were able to explore some of the city and these snapshots capture the Moroccan life I witnessed as I quickly went from one place to the next. The colors, textures, and people were some of the most interesting and beautiful I had seen and is something I hope to photograph more in the future.
